 She was a 24' San Pan pontoon boat with a 1978 Evinrude 35hp outboard and a maximum capacity of 2145 pounds (we're gonna use every one of them).  Stripped down to the deck and rebuilt with this trip in mind.  She was picked up from Gerald and Laurie Stegenga in Saline Michigan for $1500, trailered down to Seymour Texas for the complete refit, then trailered full of gear the 3200 miles to launch in the river at the Robert Service Campground in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory.   When we reach the sea at the end of our journey she will be offered for sale fully rigged in the village of Emmonak on the Yukon Delta.  Price negotiable, make us an offer.
